Prosperi Italian Bakery in Lynbrook

This is a good neighborhood bakery nothing fancy but clean fresh and good taste.

Not a fancy bakery when it comes to specialty cakes, so if you want any extravagant decorations...this is not the place, but despite this..the quality of the cake is excellent. I had a red velvet made for my birthday and it was delicious! It was lite and not too sweet like other bakeries I've tried. I gave it 3 stars because as I said it's not fancy and there are no books to view when ordering specialty cakes. You go into other bakeries and they have pictures to show for ideas.

Ordered a birthday cake a few days ago gave special instructions to the baker but did not receive what I asked for. When I called to inform them on what I receive I was told that I would get a call back and still I have not heard back from anyone!

Excellent little shop with very yummy stuff! I shop there often, it's always fresh and made in the store. Their bread is amazing and their sweets are even better. Definitely recommend.

I recently moved back to the area and was happy to see Prosperi is still here. This is the Italian bakery of my childhood with all the classics. If your in the neighborhood be sure to stop in and try one of their amazing pastries.

My wife loves tricolor rainbow cookies ... and will usually complain if they're not made will. But she loves the ones made here. Good amount of jaminess without being too sweet.

Just got a cake today from there was absolutely horrible taste like nail polish remover or a chemical was in this cake going back for a refund definitely do not recommend it.

Been going to Prosperi Bakery for many years, never have I been disappointed! This family owned bakery is putting out the best, freshest amazing pastries, cookies and cakes. From rainbow cookies to the fresh baked bread like a bakery straight from Italy.

Pastries, cheese cake , strawberry shortcake terrific. Everything fresh and delicious!

The Cannoli and Rainbow Cookies are to die for! Can't wait for my next visit to try more!!!

The best tiramisu ever !

As authentic as it gets, this Italian bakery is a solid choice. It's not the fanciest and there aren't 101 items to choose from, but what they do, they do well. You can't find s-cookies a lot these days, but they have them here, along with other Italian treats I remember as a child. Also, the bread is wonderful.

Delicious Italian Bakery and reasonably priced. Bought a pound of mixed cookies to bring to a friends house. Everything looked delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more items

The cookies here are good ordered a birthday cake and the whip cream was sour had to return it. And the Birthday party was ruined by soar cake and they never make enough french bread always sold out by mid afternoon. Malvern bakery is much better.

Pastries and bread are fantastic. Staff is friendly and polite!
